Dive briefing
The Cedar Pride is the most celebrated wreck dive in Aqaba and a must-see for any diver visiting the Red Sea. This former Lebanese cargo ship was intentionally sunk in 1985 to create an artificial reef, and today it is one of the region’s most beautiful and well-preserved wrecks. Resting on its port side between two coral reefs, Cedar Pride has become home to an incredible variety of marine life and flourishing soft corals, making it a top site for wreck enthusiasts, photographers, and recreational divers. Dive Experience: Depth ranges from 12–27 meters (40–90 ft), accessible to Open Water divers and above. Explore the impressive hull, mast, deck, air pockets, and coral-covered structures. Expect to see lionfish, angelfish, scorpionfish, fusiliers, and occasionally turtles. Spectacular soft corals and gorgonians make this one of the most colorful wrecks in the Red Sea. Perfect site for wide-angle photography and stunning silhouette shots.
